No one on earth can build a church!
Jesus sent disciples out to proclaim the 'gospel' - not go and preach Jesus - the gospel is the goodnews of the kingdom of God (which also includes what Jesus did).
Jesus also preached the gospel of the kingdom of God/heaven - nothing else.
The church is a representation of the kingdom of God on earth - the sooner people understand this the better.
A successful church is one that is all about the Kingdom of God - where people do the will/laws of Yahweh.
