A mystery Police escort

The mysterious appearance of a full blown police escort for 3 coaches heading up the mall on 27th May 2008. The coaches seemed to be nothing more then an old people's tour, so I'm guessing someone was unwell.

The escort was for the Arsenal team going to see the Queen. The Queen was too ill to go and open something new at their stadium so she invited them all to tea at the Palace - remember seeing this on televison.

I can tell you all about this as I was the driver of the second coach Reg No 187 NKN. This was taking people from Downing Street back to the M40 where there was approx 100 - 200 vehicles parked as it was closed to all public except those taking part in the fuel protest about the rising cost of fuel. They was taken from the M40 to Marble Arch then on to Downing Street where the pertitions was handed over to Parliament and then back to the M40.
