Speed Painting Christ the Redeemer statue

This is a replay of a drawing I did of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. A place I would love to visit!

On 7 July 2007, Christ the Redeemer was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a list compiled by the Swiss-based The New Open World Corporation. In Brazil there was a campaign called Vote no Cristo (Vote for the Christ) which had the support of private companies. Additionally, leading corporate sponsors including Banco Bradesco and Rede Globo put large sums of money in the effort to have the statue voted into the top seven.
