I worked as a projectionist @ The Greenwood Theatre in Trenton, NJ, in 1971, I was 18. I ran this film on 5 reels "Pretty Maids All In A Row." I had a crush on Angie Dickinson after that & was please to see more of her in "Dressed To Kill' @ the Atlantic Drive-In, Near AC.

I have that movie "Pretty Maids All In A Row". It's a good movie, but this song on that movie?! It was weird to me!! I still LOVE this song and it's one of my favorite Osmond Brother songs!!

THis song was used in a movie about murder, statutory rape, and seduction! Pretty Maids All In A Row staring Rock Hudson and Angie Dickinson.
Great movie, love the song.

I'm watching Pretty Maids All in a Row and I noticed in the credits that this song is by the Osmonds...and I was confused. I thought, the *Osmond* Osmonds? Like, the super wholesome ones? Isn't this movie supposed to be uh, full of sex? Maybe there's more to Donny than I first thought. *shrug*
Well, back to the movie. ^^

I have hummed this song so many times and I only know that opening chorus.
As to their originality, I can't tell you how many classic Temptations songs I first knew from an Osmonds medley on on of their albums. Most of Donny's hits were covers of early rock 'n roll/R&B songs. This and Down By The Lazy River are among their few good songs that weren't first hits for others. Did they write them? I don't know. But they were/are talented performers. That's enough.

why is it that every 70's band claims to be so original...the ''osmonds'' were an average talent family, driven by their so called ''mormon' parents!...hmmmm...your outfits look alot like 'elvis''....think he was here first!....everybody ripped off his style!!

Not the same "Chilly Winds" as this. : )

@jdreyer65 Pretty Maids All in A Row
This is one of the first Osmond songs I remember listening to as a teenager. It was amazing when I found this and started singing along, as if it were only yesterday! Was the song "honeybee" or something the next song on the album? Cause as soon as this was over, that started playing in my mind. I think Wayne starts it with some kind of rythm which I couldn't figure out how to spell.

I think the next song was 'Shucking and Jiving' but 'The Honeybee Song' was on the same album 'Homemade' both are here on my playlist.
