My by-ear interpretation of Goodnight Julia. It is played a step lower than the original; I kind of think it might better-suit a piano rendition. Messed up the end; I apologize!

  • its pretty good idk what eveyrones talking about, unless they have their own videos with their perfect transcriptions :) only thing i'd do is just play the intro very light like the original and buildup the chord as you go as to mix it up

  • I agree, this would benefit from being a lot more dynamic and smooth-flowing, starting quiet, building and waning throughout the song. Since this video, I've worked out a slightly different ending, so perhaps I'll re-record and re-post sometime. Thanks for the kind words. ^^

  • Much appreciated.

  • You have Good Ear Interpretation but the hand is so heavy relax your fingers a little *-*^ And The theme shine more good luck

im gonna put 4 stars for your video

  • You're so very right! I don't know why I didn't seem to notice that before (or did I?), but my playing here is quite brutish xD. If I were to do it again, it'd be much more gentle and "swelling."

  • ow my left ear

  • That was great, excellent work!

  • just freaking loved it!!!!!

too bad the star system is gone!

  • Definitely play it with a lot more feel than the other people on youtube, they rush it! they go to fast, they dont let the notes linger to feel each emotion that each note in this song speaks.

  • it was the first piano cover i came ax that i thought sounded full, so to speak. a few ruff spots but over all i like it. i would like to see you play it again after you worked the "bugs" out. 5star rate
