Mount & Blade: [850 man siege battle, rebel nation] The Last Stand

I take my second ever patch of land in my own name on Mount & Blade and within a few minutes I have 800 men eager to reclaim it.
I knew I was screwed, so decided to record the carnage.

Sorry about the crap quality. YouTube says the file was too big, despite me uploading many bigger, higher resolution, videos in the past, so that's only 1/4 of the actual size and 25 FPS, so it looks, well... crap.

Running latest version, no mods. Armed Rebalance and Graphical Enhancement are good, but I prefer vanilla. :)

To take land without being part of a faction, just start as a Noble's son, or get your reknown high enough to get a custom banner, then make sure you break any alliances you have, then just start to take castles. Vaegirs often leave castles poorly defended, or any castles alone in enemy territory that haven't been siege or have recently defended from a siege are good targets, as a lot of the men are dead or not fit to fight.
If you can hold one or two castles at once, or even take a main city, you can command a massive amount of men.

Had the full version of this game since Beta and seriously can't get enough. Bring on "Warband"!

@bobPENCILMAN That's if you have cheats enabled, which I don't. Part of the fun in M&B games is to occasionally lose everything and have to work your way back up.

Yep. On most games my learning curve tends to stop at "learned the controls" so I tend to be an idiot.

I can learn as much about the mechanics and systems in the game as I want, but doesn't stop my dying in stupid ways out of purely being inept.

haha you are weak i am at the day 179 i think i captured every castle and city in kheight fraction except 1 castle and my party limit is 189 and i do note cheat my XP is 640.549 i dont cheat because its not fun to play when you used them like my brothers

@00justforfun00 i love rhodoks,they basically the best defenders or besiegers,the are pretty good also against khergits,i don't know about original M&B just played the warband,but i really like then

@CurlyHooligan yes i agree, i dont use cheats too, i know how to but i dont use them, i am at 140 day and i have party limit 70 :(

but half of them are swadian knights... :)

@oliverxboxable I am your reverse , I once defended 750 person siege but having hard time to attack as the ladder is too narrow and the crack is too small for my men to break through while they were simmered by rounds and rounds of arrows.

defending on this game is impossible I have to say, But attacking is very easy as i just tend to pick off everyone with my war bow.
