There's way too much bass on the toms/kick. The snare also has a bit too much verb. Your other drum video sounded a lot better. It sounds like you went to crazy on the EQ this time around just for EQ sake, and that kick has a really bad sample.

I love that all over the world there're guys and gals who have an amazing talent like that, I'm a drummer myself but I really love the concept of how many hours go into developing the skill but you don't realise ;o... thanks for a great vid, sealed the argument in my head of which kit to buy ;)

Hey I'm looking at the catalina club models cause there quite cheap and sound brilliant. But would you (or anyone else here) recommend that I buy it even if I won't be playing hardly anything like jazz on it. More so progressive rock etc, should I get it?

@ExEurasian go for it man, the drummer in my band plays reggae and punk on it, and loves it to death. go for it!!!
