Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. My dad was born in Stockholm in 1909 and came to the USA in 1912. They settled in Iron River, Michigan. I really don't know if we are related. Please Advise. Hank Thunander

I got to play along side Hank in Lake Elmo,MN back in the early 80's. His Grandfather if I remember was the late accordian virtuoso Frankie Yankovic. Hank is a very stylish player and led a music group in the US Navy.

There are several famaly names as Tunnander
Thunander etc and they are all from the same famaly and place , Visignsö in the lake of Vättern. The name of the town Tunnestad.
I would like to see once Hank and his Thunander famaly in Sweden. We are other musiciens here in Europe with the same roots.

well, i´ve find this rather strange, in some way must I be releted to Hank Thunander because my last name is Thunander and there´s only one family named Thunander. But i´m from sweden, someone who knows more about this Hank?

Hank is from the States, he lives in Minneapolis Minn.
