Nathan plays Woody's Rag on his Gibson A-9 mandolin. I've already posted a video of this tune, but in this version, you can actually see more of the mandolin. Enjoy!

  • how do you like the gibson a9? i am planning to get it sometime. are you happy with the soound? anything u would like to add? i am desperate to get a gibson a9

  • I've been happy with the A-9 from day one. It plays real easy and has a very nice, kind of woody sound. Of course, the highs are very clear and the lows have some punch. If I were going to add anything, I would probably change the tailpiece for a Bill James, as I did on my other mandolin. But this mando really needs nothing. It's cool man!

  • Beautiful job! Both the playing and the mandolin. Could I get the tab for exactly what you played? It is similar to what is in Jack Tottle's book, but slightly different, and you play too fast for me to figure it out. Appreciate it. Bill

  • thanks dude. ill sure go for one when i have the money. is it a good idea to buy it online? we dont have gibsons stores anywhere in india. thanks once again
