Tram Crowd in Melbourne 21 Jan 2009

Queues for trams to the Australian Open in Melbourne reached dangerous levels. This queue extended out into the middle of one of the busiest intersections in the city. Masses cross from and to Flinders St Station. Yarra Trams failed to schedule enough trams to keep numbers at a manageable level. A lack of foresight and planning that's typical here on Melbourne public transport.

It's not just the trains that are the problem. More Trams. More Often.
