A former San Francisco Bay Area transit officer charged with killing an unarmed man was back in court Monday. Prosecutors played a cell phone video that shows police confronting 22-year-old Oscar Grant and his friends at a station in January. (May 18)
CONVENIENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR COMMENT. WTF? PROSECUTORS ARE PART OF THE JIG PEOPLE. THEY ARE PART OF THE ROBBING SCHEME, ALONG WITH ATTORNEYS, JUDGES, POLITICIANS, CITY PLANNERS, COUNTY COMMISIONERS ETC. THE JOKE IS ON YOU PEOPLE,.... YOU SEE, RACE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THEY DO NOT PROSECUTE THEIR OWN.

because he fled the state or should I say they gave him permission to leave because he is experiencing trauma from the incident.

Oh, you're preaching to the choir here, in that respect. That's my problem with most of the posters on YouTube as well--they watch one take of the incident, and judge it on the surface, and think they know the score.
The thing is, though, Grant, while not cuffed, was still restrained enough not to warrant Mehserle shooting him. I believe the shooting was an accident, and not murder--but that doesn't exonerate Mehserle completely.

things look different than what actually happened. Mehserle is being railroaded by racist blacks who know damn well that he is innocent but want him jailed for no other reason that he is white.
No way in hell, they will get away with that with a jury though. They will see everything and have it broken down in excrutiating detail by experts in this sort of thing. And Mehserle will go free.
That's not the point though. He should never have been arrested in the first place.

You see, that's the problem. Not seeing the entire recording of the incident. On Youtube you will find clips of Grant viciously attacking that female officer and having to be peeled off her by another cop, who he repeatedly knees in the groin until he is thrown to the ground. And he is NOT restrained. Other clips on Youtube shown frame by frame reveal Grant unhandcuffed breaking free of having his arms held down, just before being shot. These clips are being manipulated to try and make

I can see where you're coming from, but I'm not sure I'd go that far. I have heard that Grant was indeed a little provocative toward one or two officers--particularly the female one, grabbing her hand or something, and I also heard somewhere that he kneed Tony Pirone in the groin. Now, I haven't seen this done in any of the clips--it was all via testimony from the defense.
Either way, Grant was more or less restrained when Mehserle shot him, making it a crime.

It's not even that. Because Grant was acting violently towards the cops, Mehserle's actions in preparing to use deadly force were completely justified. At this point, nobody knew if Grant had a gun or not and was ready to pull it out and start blasting. Mehserle was preparing for that possibility when an accident happened. In order for it to be "negligent homicide", Mehserle would have to have been doing something reckless and unreasonable that contributed to the event happening. He wasn't.

Racism is not saying "EVERYONE Deserves the highest respect" everyone includes black, whites, the spanish, chinese etc. by the way cops can be black too. what i am saying is that there is a large number of black men beign killed ny police for no reason. was i upset? Yes am I a racist? Hell no, my wife is white. what color is yours?
by the way why since you're so observent why arent you calling the cops who beat him criminals?
Uh-oooh!

How have I thrown up the "blue wall of silence," when I still feel Mehserle committed a crime and should go to prison?
Like I already said, at some point, you have to apply reason and logic to your argument, and not just kneejerk and conform to the misguided majority. Mehserle probably did chamber the round on purpose, but you can't plan that precise a riccochet of a bullet. And again, if Mehserle wanted to kill Grant, why stop at one shot, and why in the back?
