  • If every Novus Ordo Mass was said this way, there never would have been an SSPX schism, and a lot of the other problems that happened after (NOT because of) Vatican II would not have occurred.

  • If every Novus Ordo Mass was intended to be offered this way, Bugnini wouldn't have bothered, and there wouldn't have been a Novus Ordo at all. The priests of St. John Cantius are doing what the concilium never intended... if they keep this up, the Novus Ordo will be out of existence in 20 years. More power to them.

I agree also with Young People and Families. Novus Ordo is not Catholic buy any means.

  • God Bless Priest and Brothers of Saint John Cantius.

Lets pray that Novus Orodo will be elimnated real soon, return to Mass off alltime.

  • I especially like the sung consecration.

God bless you gents of the Canons Regular of Saint John Cantius. Keep up the good work. I am ALWAYS edified when I attend your Masses.

  • What do you mean there's no 1962 Masonic Rite? Read your Missal- John XXIII started Vatican II. The 1962 Rite was created by Bugnini. You don't know Latin and you're probably not old enough to remember, so you might want to do your research before you speak about things you know nothing about. You are a horseman and you don't even know it. Until you become learned, limit your speech to yea and nea.

  • I would urge you all to go to Rome and argue your points with the Mother of God in August. If you think Fatima is a joke, good luck to you. Remember to recite the Fatima prayer on every Lord bead of the Rosary and pray for salvation from hell. Remember also that the original Rosary didn't have Our Father beads for a reason- it was 150 straight beads to counter the Jewish psalmists who are awaiting their Messiah. You might have to do some penance and understand that the enemy is crafty. Good luck

  • @Fedelm01 Vatican II did intend for Mass to be celebrated this way. I think the Novus Ordo went a little too far though...it seems fairly clear to me from the council's documents what was intended was basically the Tridentine Mass done as a dialogue Mass, readings in the vernacular (with the addition of the Old Testament reading) and possibly some other parts in the vernacular, as well as an audible Canon. I suspect some of the added devotional prayers would have been removed from the Mass too.

  • @fatimamovement Your comment is really idiotic. No such this as 1962 Masonic rite. If this is the case this means that the entire Church as been Masonic all the way until Vatican II.

  • Oh dear Lord, the paranoid rants from Sedes and SSPX-ers never cease to amaze me. God Bless the Catholic Church as she stands up against the errors and lies of radical traditionalists. This is how an OF should be celebrated.

  • Unfortunately, they are performing the 1962 Masonic rite. It is Judaism. There is now a star of David inlaid in the main aisle, a menorah on the altar (symbolizing the burning of the Seven Sacraments which are supposed to be administered in the name of the Holy Ghost, not the Holy Spirit), they are doing Masonic Mozart "Masses" and have everyone anticipating the Jewish Messiah, the "King Christ." Yes, it is a shame, many of the priests are nice there, but the "Monsignor" is from Hell.
