Hahaha LOL! I wonder what the Librarian and his assistant would make now that England is for the moment the number one test nation in cricket. Brit humour and dry wit and its best. The 1980s were a golden age for British comedy on TV. So many funny and inventive comedy tv shows Fry and Laurie, Spitting Image, Not the 9 o'clock news,Black Adder, Rory Bremner, The Two ronnies, Allo Allo etc. I am sure there is many more British TV from that era. But this is all I can think of for the moment.

@Hyperplaterine Yes, this sketch is indeed a metaphor for the problem of redemption (one of the 12 levels this sketch works on).
-
my last girlfriend could do a cunterblast. dirty bitch.

I have watched the library sketch a dozen times! It is so well written!

The beginning seems very similar to the 'joining the army' sketch in Monty Python, right down to the character joining another sketch at the end...

I'm pretty sure I'm studying at Snide University, though evidently they've changed the name.

THis sketch could be a metaphor for religion.

One of my favourite shows EVER. What would we do without Fry and Laurie?
