I made this after returning from auschwitz, it is something I will never forget. It sickened me to think that the people who did this were human beings. Please stop and remember.

@ericroi - and I cannot begin to ask why it is that nobody came to their aid. Who was there 60 yrs ago, cause I am 60 yrs too late? That's the best I can make out. I hope that helps people who can't hear it. There's some parts I can't hear but I posted what I could through tears. REALLY touching poem. :'(

A guard strides in and lifts up his gun, he spits and he shouts with true hate. He pulls the gun trigger, I hold him back, but I'm 60 yrs too late and I watch as the young girl the same age as me dies in a strangers arms.
