  • Absolutely great test - very impressive. This is really the first all good result I´ve seen! Super smooth and well flown. Looks like you can handle the pan with your Hexa(?) too. What post work stabilisation have you done?

    May I ask - how heavy it is, camera and what problems you had with the electromagnetic sys, disturbing the kopter?

  • @webspace Thanks. I use Octocopter, there is no work of stabilization in post. The camera is a Panasonic Lumix, weighs 170 grams. The magnetic fields generated by the system disturb the magnetometer, no problem flying with manual piloting. In the coming days I post a short video in which not use the electromagnetic system, but an evolution with traditional system extremely efficient. The model with the new system has a weight of 2500g complete stabilization systems. Regards.
  • Make similar arrangements for GAUI is theoretically possible

    but there are certainly problems with weight and power consumption of this home-made equipment.

  • Electromagnetic actuators used are home-made, recovery and modification of electromagnets

    industrial hydraulic actuators.

    This system helps elastomers providing the ability to adapt to different situations

    changing the amount of cushioning, does not support fully system.

  • I have many problem :

    This equipment disorders aircraft magnetometer.

    The weight and power consumption of home-made technology is unacceptable for normal use,

    this is acceptable if implement advance technology specially designed.

    The system uses an accelerometer and MCU to interpret

    the data necessary for correction.

    The handling of this system is assigned to accelerometer sensor that "feel" the stress and modulates the work of this part.

    Unfortunately with technology in my possession the consumption of this system

    is important in lowering the total autonomy of the multirotor ( 17 to 12 minutes ).

    Let's say that video was just a test but in operational status

    can not be used efficiently so I'm focusing on other solutions.
