A longtime request.
This is a movie I really want to see someday!
Warhammer 40,000 is the granddaddy of not only miniature war games but of mega-franchises like Starcraft. The concept has endless potential; the the far future humanity has built an imperium of star systems ruled by a god-emperor, but to defend it there must be continual war against the corrupting influence of The Warp. Rising to the challenge of battle are the genetically enhanced Space Marines, the ruthless Inquisitors and the rugged Imperials. Against them stand the savage Ork, the twisted Chaos Marines, the alien Tyranids, and the incomprehensible evil of Daemons and heretics of all kinds that must be expunged with bolt pistol and chainsword.

Imagine the potential of a gothic science fiction war series!
There actually were a series of official short films made by Game Workshop and its affiliates that I used in this trailer, but the budget on those was woefully low. It would be terrific to see the dark future of 40,000 portrayed with a big picture budget.
-
I also used clips from the as yet unreleased fan-film Damnatus; a german Warhammer 40,000 picture. Unfortunately Game Workshop took them to court over it and had it removed. I don't honestly know why. Damnatus would have been free advertising for their product, not to mention it looked like a darn good film.

Warhammer 40,000 and all characters concerned are copywriter Game Workshop.

  • @bloodrunsclear I know, but I'm a confirmed heretic anyways with my allegiance to the greater good, so I doubt it matters. For the Tau empire!

  • @Shadowbane509

I REALY wish they'd remake Firewarrior btw :)

  • 0:32 I can't take that expression seriously. He looks like a deranged lunatic.

  • @Shadowbane509

  • I would kill for some epic warhammer movie. Not some gril-like action film, but something so fking monumental, that it would fire me to the moon. I wanna feel raw warhammer world with all its pain, corruption and dark gods. The neverending fight for the humanity. (ofc 18+ in cinemas otherwise it wouldnt be warhammer but childhammer). FOR THE EMPIRE !!!

  • @kingkong381 fair enough to be honest even i think the chuck norris jokes are getting old, probably would have stopped if some of them weren't so funny

  • @GearShotgun Nah don't think so. GW and 40k is British and tbh if it weren't for Chuck Norris jokes I don't think anyone over here would have heard of him. No the emperor would be pretty hard to cast. My personal choice (though cheesy and a bit old for it) would either be Christopher Lee (Saruman/Count Dooku) or Ian McKellen (Gandalf/Magneto) old but definately how I would think the Emperor speaks. (when not dead/interred in throne)

  • @TehImmortalPunk Ultramarines wasn't fan made GW authorised it... but then they left the studio to their own devices... not so much as a penny of funding just their blessing to make it. Don't get me wrong I liked it and bought the DVD but it could have been so much better if GW had put their MASSIVE FUCKING WALLETS behind it. so yeah Ultramarines looks fan made because GW are stingy but it IS an official movie.

  • Kick ass work!

  • Does anyone know what the background music is (called, I mean)?

  • @TehImmortalPunk Because the movie don't have too much to say. Basically its an indian story in modern shape. I think Warhammer 40k its much richer and "human friendly" than Avatar. How many books was about Avatar? None...Look at W40k. Just much richer than u can ever imagine. I think we should make a movie about sacrifice or where we going to in these days.....W40k now its much similar to our world from such a different angle. Butt. we need an emperor indeed. :)

  • There is a movie. Its called Warhammer 40k Ultramarines. It is fan made but the quality is better than many 'official' movies.

  • @666xDavid What the fuck is your problem? Avatar was a great movie you heretic scum!

  • Tell as the film on 0:18 0:24 0:31 1:02 1:05 1:15 1:21 1:23 seconds is called?

  • ahahah lol at the starhip trooper bits
