  • Aw yeah, great. But my Mac wakes up in a split second, and it's ready for work.

  • пиздец дроч! извращение

  • One of the main arguments for this product is that it's "safe". They just forgot the most basic thing of the security...

    PASSWORDS.

I've got Splashtop on my new Sony Vaio CW and it really bothers me that anyone can hit "web", launch the Splashtop, use the notebook without any password-recognition and access any site they want under my IP.

I really hope that they update this asap!

  • Yet another Linux intended for netbooks. Linux on netbooks have always been a difficult sell. What makes this Linux for netbooks any different?

I know that Sony puts Splashtop on some of it's laptops and netbooks. But they also install Windows as well.

  • @tsu... i know, but having a fast internet does not make the youtube slider be a second in does it!

  • @stingrayshrey

u ppl r retarded i have splash and is real and super fast, but the reason why it was loaded was because they already watched that vid b4,

  • @lowtone10

idiot, u fail the internet depends on your network card or adapter, and service, and browser

  • @ric2b yeah, but you don't need to let them heat up. As soon as you switch it on it's instantly usable.

  • My Windows XP will load up in under 30 seconds. It only takes a while to load if you have slow hardware, or you're one of those people that have like 20 programs load at startup. If you compare a default installation of Windows XP and Ubuntu, Ubuntu would probably load up faster, but if you customize your Windows installation (like I do), XP loads much quicker.

As for Anti-virus, I don't see the need for one if you're careful about what you download. I don't use one and never have any trouble.

  • its not that bad, ive got it on my P5Q Delux MoBo, however i cant get the net as it does not like my wireless, and i cannot config a HDD, overall its fun but shyte.
