Lake Region Union High School Grad Achiever

Glover VT native Micheal Thorn Jr President of his 2005 Lake Region Union HS Graduating Class located in Orleans Vermont was inducted into the most prestigious International Nursing Fraternity "Sigma Theta Tau" in May of 2008.

This Northeast Kingdom native of Glover Vermont attends Husson University in Bangor Maine where he has been a Deans List student of Nursing since his 1rst semester in 2006.

As well as being an active member of Sigma Theta Tau. Michael is the Vice President with Maine's Chapter of the National Student Nurses Association.

Recently Michael earned a paid internship for the summer of 2009 with the MAYO Clinic in Minnesota which he has accepted.

Michael works several jobs in the healthcare field while workig his own way through school. Including a Phlebotomy position at NVRH in St. Johnsbury whenever he comes home for holidays.

We are so proud of you Michael. You're truly an awesome person and you're growing into a man who cares first for others with faith in the positive returns on your wholehearted investments.. We love you.
