@victorc0930 It's a spare CRT monitor I had sitting around my office. It's plugged into a G5 tower.

Actually...not fake. This is a well documented error. Try searching "panic: we're hanging here" on Google. You'll get 6.1 million results. That doesn't sound fake to me.
