o ya been there done that but only here in centeral b.c canada the snow gets deep aswell waist-shoulder hight some places,baring through 1/2 foot of ice then frozen ground just to find a bent pin(call it good?),frozen sandwichs,frozen water,frozen hands and feet,soacked cloths,line cuting with snowshoes on,boogers allover face,ya we suveyor and suveyor assistances are a crazy breed...only we know how much though.swing an axe enough to scare a vickeing and use a machete eneough to out do a samari

Scottish land surveyors don`t face the extreme weather you guys face, but we have our moments.Best job in the world (if a bit chilly at times!) All the best from Scotland my friend
