I wouldn't take Bungie seriously...after Halo 2 was released, they said they wouldn't make more Halo games. Even after a surprise cliffhanger. Them leaving the franchise wouldn't be a surprise, but it wouldn't be a surprise if they didn't.

And it's not going to be the last game in the series, just one of the last announced games. Including this, we've still got Halo Wars and Chronicles due out.

Better put a sprint button in. Can't believe they didn't in Halo 3. I got used to it, but as soon as I got CoD 3 multiplayer going I just couldn't go back to slow old Halo. Master Chief is the perfect soldier my bum.

Hopefully they'll substitute the Equipment function for the X button, with a sprint.
