@nfpmg It doesn't say anything about me really. I think this is a stupid way to resolve feuds or conflict; as I say, nothing is gained as a reasonable solution can never be gained through fighting. It'll quell the anger until the next man fancies having a pop. And so it goes, 'round and 'round. I'm not slagging the culture of travellers, just this aspect of it. Like I said, I'd criticise anyone doing this, whether it was 'cultural' or just pissheads scrapping outside the pub on a Friday night

@TheMightyHartley You say "over their surname" as if they just organise fights just because of their names! These fueds go back further and alot deeper than their names! That's how they settle things. They way other cultures have other ways to settle fueds! If you came on to this video to just slate these people because of their culture and heritage, what does that say about you?

@nfpmg You fail to grasp what I'm saying! I don't care if these people are Irish, English, Travellers or from Mars!! Any group of grown men who do this are fools, and that's that. It's their culture? So what - it doesn't mean fighting over your surname isn't moronic, because it certainly is. Cultures evolve, and this aspect of traveller culture hasn't. There's no basis for the feud anyway - it's just bad blood, endless fighting and no resolution. As Churchill said, "less war war, more jaw jaw".

So you know that not all of them are the way they're made out? So you could show them respect? What's the difference between them and people from deprived area's? Troubled backround's? @nfpmg There are still plenty of kind and respectful people who HAVEN'T had a good education and upbringing, so what is the excuse of these people? And I didn't say anywhere that ALL travellers are like this, did I? I'm not a snob AT ALL - I respect people who show kindness and respects to others regardless of their background. If a bunch of middle-class people grouped together to fight in fields like these folks, I'd call them idiots too.
