@ASLFrugalMom You made a claim, thus the onus for proving said claim is on you. I can find plenty of evidence that horses rarely foal and even more rarely do one much less both of the foals survive. And often the mare doesn't survive delivery. Yes, horses who deliver singletons by themselves usually do quite well. Horses who deliver twins, however, rarely do.
@najiwench If you want to be ignorant thats fine. I don't need to find you proof that you aren't going to believe anyway. You're just another interfering, big shot who thinks they know everything about everything especially animals who have been giving birth BY THEMSELVES for centuries. But that's okay it's a good thing you're here to "help" or they would never make it. You loose. Thank YOU for playing :-)
@ASLFrugalMom In other words, you are talking out your backside and have nothing to back up your claims. I have seen lots of videos of foals, and most of them have the ending "unfortunately one of the foals passed away (sometimes both foals) but we were blessed to have this angel with us for such a short time" etc..But thank you for playing :)
@najiwench Find it yourself. You're the one worried about it not me. It's all over the Internet. If it wasn't meant to happen it wouldn't. Peoples ignorance and lack of intelligence when it comes to raising foals is what kills them.
@ASLFrugalMom You have realy seen "many" twin foals born domestically as well as in the wild that survive? Please can you provide anything to support this claim?
I can never understand why everybody fights over horse video's. These people obviously love, and take very good care of all of the horses in their stable. They are simply doing everything they can for the foals and the mare. And Mama, not only doesn't mind, but seems very gracious and happy to have them there. Take it for what it's worth...Beautiful!!! GOOD JOB Y'all!
are you really rubbing the newborn clean?! what the ... it already irritates me when people are taking over the birth but rubbingit clean..?? that's too bad.. the mom has to lick the foal clean..
I wonder why the mare wasn't pregnancy checked and one of the foals pinched?
