Once again, the military has been using FMJs since WW2. They are not using FMJ and I believe that the .308 Winchester was not the original 'sniper' round. It was the .30-06 Springfield.

@Ratkill9000 lol though you said modern warfare and did not bother reading the rest buy yeah they were not allowed that's why ALL the surplus rounds are all FMJ

Militarys are banned from using hollow point ammo in warfare. They can only use full metal jacket ammo. Carlos Hathcock used a Winchester model 70 chambered in .30-06 Springfield full metal jacket ammo. An FMJ bullet would have gone through that PU scope and into the ballistics dummy and possibly through the whole head.

As a soviet firearms collector I must say, That better not have been an original PU scope on that Mosin nagnat 91/30 or I will personally hunt Adam and Jamie down and crush them!!!
