i have palit 8500 gt sonic, its cooling fans is a bit loud despite i am using VDO tool to keep it spinning slower. i am not over clocking it, happy with performances this way, but wanted to keep it silent as much as i can. i will have to look around for solutions, like one you have suggested . thanks :-)

I'm satisfied with it, it's good cooler for middle class GPUs. I have it on my x1300 and old x600... results are apparent. If you have efficient vga, you can buy additional fan (Arctic Cooling Turbo Module - they say "it's extremely sitent" maybe it's true :-)) it cost 200CZK... so it's about 6 euros. And a price of cooler: 20 euros, i think it's good value

i was also considering using this cooler for my wga card, are you satisfied with results? i can get it for around 20 euros, i guess it it a good value for it. only loud part of my pc it that wga cooler fan, i will have to replace it with something less annoying.

mirek,i find this video very usefull, but i think you`ve should put your camera in front of you. this way many details are hidden.
