  • @justphil101 I agree, I don't feel he has had the recognition he deserves

  • @VIRIATO1942 Isn't he so sweet and cool ? Love all his stuff !! I'm looking for a few that he released in '72 along with "OH Babe Whaat Can You Say?" " called

    1. "Auntie Vi's" 2. "Many Happy Returns" 3." Back in the Country" 4. "Getting To Know You" 5. "Take Sukii Home" and several others...... Maybe if we pester long enough they will bring him back? :)"

  • Love this song, too bad

he was for the most part

    only remembered for "Oh Babe..."

    Thanks for sharing.

  • God, I love his production on his solo stuff. I love his productions for others too, but on his own stuff it was very uniquely his own. Who else has that sound really? I guess he was kinda the precursor to Alan Parsons Project, other than him that was not a very normal thing back then.

  • It is nice to discover that Hurricane Smith has more songs other than "O Babe What Can You Say:", a song which always makes me feel happy when I listen to it. ..also love that saxophone solo at the end !.

I had never seen either a photo or a video of such a cool artist .

  • what a great career he had. Recording engineer for the Beatles. Record producer who discovered and produced Pink Floyd. Singer/songwriter for "Oh Babe, What Would You Say"

  • Dear Mr. Smith. I am sorry that time caught up with you. Thank you for the contribution of music to my life. I LIVED while you gave us your music. Thank you. Dont let it die and it will live FOREVER.

  • Can I get some of those drugs you are on please.....

  • married in 72 this guy was (and is)so cool

  • I never knew what he looked like. But I always pictured him as the man on the moon with Oh Babe.
