@g11690102 Definitely; increasing the number of moving parts is a time-honoured way of achieving total energy loss to friction. The device in this vid may be well on its way to that lofty goal, but it still needs a few more parts.

thanks for having this up. worm gear on the wheel this will increase torque. swinging the pendulum is easy with solar.

Of course, it needs energy to be sustained in its motion.
The question regarding resonance is whether it can oscillate with a large amplitude and do work while you are putting the same in or not.
