  • I'm glad the alien got rid of Baldy. He was a terrible supreme commander & care less about the lives of those who serve under him.

  • Bowie was motivated to have that sweet, sweet foursome! Musica and her two sisters all act as one right?

  • Always felt this ending transitioned so much better into the new generation than macross into masters. Believe robotech love live alive is supposed to pick up here?? Hope it doesnt suck

  • @Kalladorn thats exactly what happens...... you should read the books by Jack McKinney

  • @VictorErol Oh believe me I know, I've read all of the Robotech Novels: The Macross Saga, The Malcontent Uprisings, The Robotech Masters Saga, The Masters Gambit, The Sentinels, The New Generation and The End of the Circle.... I enjoyed them all immensely as a child, but this was in the early 90s tho

  • I love the encounter between Zor and all of the triumviroids. They do manage to hit him with concentrated fire, given direct orders. But by this point, their combat effectiveness is so low that a single hovertank wipes through them while they're standing there.

  • @DukeofColumbia To an extent, this was dictated by the way that the source material ends (i.e. in the Japanese storyline, the proliferation of the flowers is a good rather than bad thing, and everyone is indeed astonished). But it also fits well with the Robotech storyline. I mean, they know full well that Zor failed and is nonetheless dead, that the Invid will come and they've no chance of stopping them, and that the whole war was, essentially, for no purpose.

  • @CoachDaKingMRP That stuff about the Flower and Haydon is an embellishment that goes beyond what the Robotech timeline needs/supports. The interwar periods, in contrast, aren't - and the missing time between the final battle of the Second Robotech War and the arrival of the Invid is quite worthwhile.

  • @doop408 This is the middle act. Having "won," humanity nonetheless faces certain doom at the hands of the Invid, precisely because so much has been lost defeating the Robotech Masters; it has to be this way to bring the story together.

  • zor u idiot! It was too bad season 2 had to end like this, season one will always be the best but season 2 deserved a better ending

  • As much as Minmei's singing was annoying, I still have to say that season 1 was better.

  • @CyrussNP I thought one died escaping.
