One of my friends who had one, said it hurts like hell just before I got mine done, but it didn't. It's just the jewellery going through the hole that hurts. It was my 16th piercing so it didn't matter

She said it didn't. I can't really say for sure but I don't think it was that bad. And she uses Blairex Wound Wash and possibly some saltwater solution but i know she always takes great care of her piercings and those two work the best for not getting infections.
