Also, this has not become a major issue b/c people are making them 9 billion. Who's gonna give that up? Sh*t why, don't they just save the money they already made and stop brainwashing the african american community? The thing is, the blacks in Europe are even worse! I was lookin at them and I thought; "what's wrong with you? you weren't slaves?"

They totally ignored the real questions barbara and whoopi were trying to ask. Which was why isn't black hair "in style". Are people THAT insecure that they can only follow a style? This issue of the non-black ignorance would get solved by simply having everyone, not just black people, get trained to do black hair in beauty school. Natural hair=confidence. That Hollywood crap-bullsh*t. Those black women would quit before they dared walk around with their shameful black hair.

I am black girl with what some useless people might described nappy hair, and i love my hair nevertheless it is a lot of hard work, i break a lot of combs as my hair is so hard and I need to put a lot of cream in it it to attempt to keep it soft. I think its great that whoopy and the other lady emphasise, when sistas relax their hair, it's because it is much easier. I have never relaxed my hair but I always have to plait it otherwise, it's too much hard work.
I am a black woman who does NOT mind if my man puts his hand in my hair. Not all of us wear weaves or wigs. A whole bunch of us have our own hair and would not flinch if a man touch our hair. Now, I do have an issue with random people putting their hands in my hair, due to germs, etc.

In the Black community "Good Hair" means curly to straight hair. Not the smaller tighter coils and curls. I personally have never used the term because it's a very negative term that's based on the slave-master mentality.
