Those were the days...NO REALITY SHOWS!!!!!!
-
@Edgehead10075 I did not know NCIS is a JAG spinoff
-
@coolwafferman I agree wiht you...Friends was the most overrated show of all time
-
When prime time lineups were something to look forward to.

@Edgehead10075 They started around 1980 or so, "shows like "Different Storkes" "Gimme A Break", "Family Ties" and "Quincy" ran then, but it didn't get real popular until "The Cosby Show" came on in 1984, and other shows around Thursday night became popular. It lasted up until the 2000's, but I really think it went to down in 1993, after shows like "Cheers", and "A Different World" ended.
I don't give a shit what anyone says, "Friends" killed Thursday nights. Worst show! (IMO)

Is it just me or is the "In the House" house similar to the "Two and a Half Men" house?

You're right. NBC had a lot of HORRIBLE sitcoms in the mid-nineties.
I remember how NBC was bragging hard about being on top in the nineties, and now they're in the toilet. Lol.

1995-1996 was the final season in which NBC aired sitcoms on Saturday. It was the end of what was once a great era.
Caroline in the City and The Single Guy were awful.

I think that NBC is still kicking itself for cancelling JAG after one season. It moved to CBS and became extremely popular. NCIS is a spinoff of JAG.
