i heard that haiku stairway is blocked off to people, so how do you enter? i live in kaneohe yet i cant find the entrance.

I never got to do that. Now not even in Hawaii but wow some of that looked pretty hairy. Yikes! Heard you really gotta be in good shape to do that since if you have to stop sucks for the people behind you. Can't get around you or maybe hard to?

The city built steps & gate to the access road. Agreement with Hope Chapel was found illegal. Hope Chapel has sublease from Brothers of the Sacred Heart. When all lawyers got involved, the city could not meet their liability requirements. The city then tried a property swapuntil attorneys found a paragraph in the deed preventing a trade. Then Mayor Jeremy's term ended & efforts dropped. A trail from the District Park, thru WCC campus & past HSH to the access road -not optimal- is possible.

Does the middle ridge require climbing equipment? Or can you just walk through it all?

no climbing equipment required. the trail on moanalua middle ridge is clear, marked, and easy to follow...

ICIC. um where is that by anyway? cuz im planning to do this on sunday or Saturday. im hella stoked but idk which entrance togo lol.

type in kuneki place on google maps and it'll give you directions...
