The Gratitude Project is a series of YouTube videos featuring group members of the (Thank A SOldier) Cause page on Facebook and Thankasoldier.net It is a easy way for people to come together from all over the world in support of coalition forces.

We have received tremendous support with this project too, most recently Rock Legend Gene Simmons and his wife; Shannon Tweed submitted a photo holding a "Thank You" sign with Gene saluting. Other organizations that support our troops in various ways have come onboard as well, such as Operation Gratitude and Hero to Hero USA & Canada.

Showing gratitude to our men and women doesn't cost a penny. All you have to do is take a photo that says "Thank You" and people can interpret that however they wish. Once you take the photo we ask that you send it to thankyou@thankasoldier.net and it will be featured in the video.

We have received photos from all over the world, United States, Canada, Britain, Australia, and even Argentina and Turkey, truly amazing! Also as a nice surprise, we have received over 40 photos from Soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq who have heard about this project and are sending us"Thank You for the support" photos.

There originally was a deadline of Feb 28th to send photos but the response has been so amazing that we are going to keep this going as long as we keep getting photos.

  • Everyone should show their gratitude to our armed forces for all of their sacrifices, and this seems like a great way to do it.

  • Yes it is and it doesn't cost a cent! How many people do you see with tons of photos on their Facebook or whatever, this takes ten seconds to do and our men and women really appreciate it.

  • We have the best and brightest serving not only our nation, but taking freedom around the globe! Anything we can do to say thank you is the very least we can do. They earn and deserve the very best! Thank you, Troops!!! We salute You!!!

  • Thank you for the comment!

  • Can't decide what I want to do, smile or cry. As a sailor serving Canada - this is awesome and for those whoadd there images and gratitudes of appreciation - THANK YOU! Things like these are what makes serving that much more!

  • You haven`t seen anything yet, I have received so many photos from people age 3months old to 92 years old, from every corner of the world. People coming together in support of all forces from all branches and countries. Thank you for your service and stay tuned!

  • I totally missed out on sending in a photo! My husband is an Indiana National Guardsman and was stationed in Kuwait until Oct. We're still trying to get our lives back on the road. I want to let you know that I created Project Get A Military Service Member/Spouse Leid! as a way for family & friends to send warm fuzzies and thank yous. My husband and I came up w/it while we were in HI during his leave. My studio is on ArtFire and I would be happy to send you the direct link if you would like.

  • Fantastic Idea!
