Angry Blind Dude - Part 1

I was on US Airways flight 2440 from Philadelphia to Brussels and this man was extremely upset that we were delayed due to mechanical issues. While we were on the runway he decided to stand up and start yelling at the flight attendants. He wanted to know why we were not taking off and was extremely loud and rude about it. This video captures his conversation with the US Airways gate agent who asked him to leave. He didn't. This is part 1 of the story. Part 2 shows the Philly police's involvement and how they removed him from the plane. The guy deserved everything he got. They were way too nice to him in my opinion.

The guy may have been an annoying arsehole, but that doesn't give them (airport security and police) the right to arrest himor through him off the plane.

The police were arseholes, and ignorent ones at that, when they thought he was faking being blind, should they be arrested? I think not, and neither should he.

To your obvious knowledge of threat levels this would be a ONE which can escalate easily, so no.. you get attitude and swearing off crew members that have NOTHING to do with the dam delay you get off the plane buddy, Foff.

THEY'RE ON THE PLANE TOO AND WANT TO GO HOOOOOOME!! oh by the way, no we dont get paid on the ground, oh my hmm thats why we must delay flights all the time right. Point is, that shitty attitude leave it at the dam gate, if he gets like that on the ground I def dont want to have him or deal with him in the air where we are all stuck with him.

You think that I am the blind guy. I am not.

I saw that the policemen did not allow him to use his white cane. I also saw that he lost his cane while the policemen were carrying him away. The policemen did not pick up the cane.

Cannnot you realize that the guy was protesting because we (I was on the same plane) were supposed to stay there, without moving , wthout going to toilets, without having drinks or anything to eat, without knowing exactly wat was going on? Would you like to be treated like an objet? I do not.

give me a fucking break!!! this guy is a fucking nut, what did all you people want? for the plane to take off with mechanical problems and then crash and kill everyone? this man is acting like a spoiled child! i am certainly no flag waving nationalist but all these people responding with "stupid americans" , i wonder how they would react if i was on a plane in their country acting like this...
