NBC started the single most asinine move in TV history:
They started the whole practice of the credit crunchers and generic split-screen credits for what? More money? More ads?

Amen! I used to watch the credits all the way through--they were like part of the show. Now it's down w/ elegance, up with commercials. Blah... sign of the times.
