It is incredible the songs he used to put on b-sides! He really cared about giving the fans value for money. This and 'Thunderwing' are my fave b-side songs.
I have been looking for the 2-track acoustic recording Marc donated to the "Glastonbury Fayre" album, as my vinyl copy is long "stored somewhere" - and I don't have a record player anymore. I don't think this is it, since the fade out solo I recall was just two repeated notes. Can anyone confirm this?
Marc consistently gave his fans 2 B-sides per single, then on "Solid Gold Easy Action" at the tail end of '72 , he reverted to a single perfunctory B-side...what happened Marc??
Hiya TG yeah another B side that is under played! Marc consistantly had good b-side songs. It was all todo with his belief that "the Kids" should get maximum value for money. The lyrics for this song are very poignent to me, in that I interpret them as one of the first tracks where Marc seems to be speak autobiographically about the music industry and how he was being treated and simple not understood.
Yet another nice example of Marcs accoustic work. thanks
wish Marc were here with us

I've always thought this was one of his best. The lyrics are dynamic, for sure.
