Glad to see someones advertising credit unions. In times like this, we need cooperative systems like credit unions.

@hyperseauton Credit Unions are not-for-profit. While it's not exactly charity work, we are very thankful that Jeff has the heart/talent to do this kind of quality work. It's the only way we can compete with the huge marketing budgets of for-profit institutions like banks.

I'm pumped that Jeff did this. If I move to Denver...ever, I'll be sure to give business to those who had the foresight to hire such a talented young guy.

@JnAStudios The voice belongs to Jeff Smith-Luedke, who also did the graphic design work. Quite a multi-talented fellow!

what's the difference between a credit union and a bank?
thewhitebrazilian 1 year ago
@thewhitebrazilian The biggest difference is who owns them. Banks are owned by investors, while credit unions are cooperatives - which means they are owned by the same people who have their savings, checking, investments and/or or loans there. This means we still make a profit, but are required by law to give those profits back to the people with accounts via better rates, better service, or fewer fees, all of which are statistically better than banks' according to nearly every survey.
