  • Oh, so you're the @#$ helicopter that is ruining the sound in my shots. But Wow, we should make some Flying beach videos....

  • weres ole grande

Yeh i have that book, with the 412 on the front

Pretty good, although in honestly, i used the bristol atponline method, and averaged 97% so i would really reccomend that. I got my atpl ground done in 5 months, at an in house course at cranfield, CATS, was good, but the online database was invaluable.

Cheers for the add on fbk btw

    Best of luck

    andy

  • @andybrandt205 I'll hopefully start it next year when I get time and money together - I haven't got the ATPL material but I have started on Phil Croucher's Professional Helicopter Pilot Studies book which is a good overview of the CPL/APTL agenda.

  • @andybrandt205 Haha, small world eh? I was living in the front room (of the two that are side by side), I miss that house.. is the dart board still there??? I didn't meet Rachel, is she a student living there too? I recall they went through the general channels, however the connection with B/A must have been a help too I would imagine.

Hey no way, i know bronson, and that house, just the otherside of the railway line.

I was mates with Barry Ward, an irish chap who must have moved in after you left, we went through ir class and shared the same instructor. Was rachel living there as well at that stage?

Allright for some , isnt it! any idea how they managed to find a way in?!

I was parked up over at windover oaks. When do u think url start your CPL

have u looked at the atpl stuff yet?

    Andy

  • @andybrandt205 Very nice, hope it's going well for you. What A/C are you rated on? I'd hope to be starting my CPL next year, depending on funding ;) Paul Hanington was my instructor, who has since moved on from B/A to join Bristow Norwich flying S76C+ Offshore (lucky git). My housemate Ian Garbett is flying EC150B from the same location (also a lucky git!). I was living in Titusville with Bronson the red headed ground crew - sound guy....! Where did you live?

  • @highonsnow

could do offshore if i convert my Faa ir to JAA, but at the moment just doing corporate stuff out of Denham, north London.

Otherday i had a flight out to Geneva which was a bit of a laugh

When/where u looking at doing ur CPL?

    Who was ur instructor then?

Guess u were staying in windover oaks/summerhill?

    Nice to hear from you

    Andy

  • @andybrandt205 Ahh excellent, the good ol' 528. I was there to carry out my JAA PPL in early 2008.. hoping to crack into the CPL some time soon. What are your intentions, looking at Offshore or Corporate avenues?
