I am not like you

This is a short animation I drew in one night (it was a looong night) for an expo at the Museum of Mexico City, organized and put together by Toxico Cultura (www.toxicocultura.com). It was projected in a continuous loop in a corner of the room, almost hidden, which made it look kind of mysterious. I liked the experience.

[For those curious about the technical details, the animation was drawn with a pencil on quite a few paper sheets, stupidly without a peg bar (I was so ignorant back then, haha). It was put together roughly and in a hurry, in a clumsy mixture of After Effects and Final Cut, hence the interlacing... I'm working on the deinterlaced 16:9 version, but I figured if I didn't upload it now, I probably never would.]

Ésta es una animación que dibujé en una noche (larguísima noche) para una exposición en el Museo de la Ciudad de México organizada por Tóxico Cultura (www.toxicocultura.com). Se proyectaba en un ciclo infinito (jaja) en una esquina de la sala, casi escondida, lo cual le daba un aire de misterio. Fue una experiencia interesante.

[Para los curiosos: dibujé la animación con un lápiz en unas cuántas docenas de hojas simples y baratitas, sin peg bar (¡qué ignorante era! jaja). La armé con prisa en una mezcla torpe de After Effects y Final Cut... por eso el entrelazado. Estoy trabajando en la versión sin entrelazado y en 16:9, pero hoy me di cuenta de que si no la subo ahora, probablemente nunca la suba.]
