Not that it really matters a great deal but just for future references on Bofil and not to let a false rumor get started. Her father was Cuban and her mother was Puerto Rican. Creole would be someone of French and Spanish blood born in Louisiana as the name originated from.

So sad to hear she had a stroke hope she makes speedy recovery ,had this on one of my street sounds albums.
