@ UO vs USC game! (47-20 UofO)
Eugene, OR at Autzen Stadium

My friend's recording of the OMB doing the THRILLER by Michael Jackson!
Last of three songs for a one-night-only Halloween show by the Oregon Marching Band.

Enjoy!

  • Best part of the performance was the crowd reaction to the dance. It's nice to know that fans are actually paying attention to the band.

Between the guy hitting all five targets at halftime and this performance, it was one of the more memorable halftimes in recent memory.

    Well done and GO DUCKS!

  • The funny part about the guy hitting all five targets was his reaction. To see him go crazy and then start streaking down the field in the opposite direction and then flip into the end zone was pretty darn funny.

Also, great job by the OMB here to FINALLY connect with the audience.

    Let's hope it continues!

  • I love how the band is doing it also and so is the duck!

  • OMB looks great doing this!

  • @DuckofUOregon Lol, Beaver Fans these days..

  • @bobalooloo02 The fact that you think OSU invented the dance reflects very highly on OSU...

  • Ummmm.... To the person below me..... THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS THOSE DANCE MOVES...lol OSU did not invent the dance silly... MJ did.... Hahahahah wow....

  • This is the biggest joke I've ever seen! They totally copied OSU! Right down to the dance moves and everything. Silly ducks. Well, I guess plagiarism is the highest form of flattery.

  • Oh was wondering about that too. ABC didn't bother to show OMB till the national anthem and there wasn't clear shots if they were there.

Meant by my question is what year did OMB begin to field a pit? Saw your guys fan page on Facebook and oldest remnants I saw was three or four member pit in 1997.

  • They did so in the Rose Bowl game today too :)

  • Question when did OMB field a pit? If known.

  • That day was magic from start to finish!! The halftime show by the OMB was OMG! AMAZING!! Mmwwaahh!
