@rmcdaniel423 Look how ppl construct their identities.At the basic ego level---if it is "i am this---not that"they defend against and fight everything else.So sports teams fans are an apt analogy also.They must get you to believe and go by the party system .And in doing so,its largely an illusion that is an invisible control system.

@manfred127 Good points about how the Republican Party tends to pander to big politically connected lobbys, while losing sight of the grass roots.
Personally, I think we should completely do away with the party system. It serves only to create social division and hate. I think every candidate ought to stand on his/her own as an independent, just like any other job interview process.

@rmcdaniel423 It probably also figures into the equation Paul has what amounts to a grassroots army that is very aware and engaged.As the party hierarchy went about only worrying about servicing the corporatocracy,this is something they never expected.And are even now fighting to the point of institutionalized vote fraud.Ron Paul is the Republican Party's worst nightmare.

The supportive comments toward Paul from the other candidates is from a debate where they were specifically asked to say something they admired about another candidate. They are only saying nice things because they have been put on the spot to do so. You can trust the sincerity of their statements about as far as you can trust any other horseshit that spills from their poison lips.
