I could be wrong,but I strongly doubt that this was a penis reference.Hanna and Barbera cartoons could be witty,but not edgy.Again,I could be wrong.Would like to view the entire episode,and then maybe get some context

OMG. As much as I've watched the Flintstones over the past gabazillion years, I never expected to hear THAT! I played it back over again. No doubt it "ment" EXACTLY what it sounded like.
(Going to check my VHS archive. Maybe it was reference to a costume mentioned earlier in the show?)

It is kind of funny that it's been decades since this show aired, and we've just slowly forgotten over time that this was intended to be a show for adults- Think of it like The Simpsons of it's time. Sure, kids could watch it, but it was a Primetime show, not a kids one. And also a rip of The Honeymooners, but that's another discussion.

PEOPLE TYPICALLY REFER TO THE TIP OF A PENIS AS A HEAD. I saw this episode a few months ago on Boomerang and I couldn't believe he said that! I laughed for a good 10 min and went on with my day.. Children obviously wouldn't get the crude humor.. but adults do.. It happens a lot with older children cartoons.
