One of the thing I likes best about Enterprise was that they tied up many loose ends from the Star Trek universe. When they first encounter the borg and the signal was sent to their homeworld that was 200 years away forshadowing TNG borg, The genetic engineering explaining why klingons looked different in the original series not to mention paying omage to the original like with the Orion women and the mirror universe etc. This show was pure quality.
