  • "and now barty crouch jr's here." HAHAHAHA

In UK we don't have netflix, we have lovefilm and I was subbed for a few months but it quickly lost its novelty and I unsubbed from the service, it just didn't provide enough for the price, after a couple of months of binging through the numerous things which interested me there wasnt enough else to keep me paying.

I had no idea that blockbuster was in such bad shape, I thought it would be bad but that's bad. Why didn't they do more to stay current.

  • you can watch netflix online on your computer =)

i don't think people like doing that, but i really don't care. if i get to see my episodes of Charmed it's all good =P

see all

  • @IDante1Savage They weren't willing to upgrade their business model. They passed on all sorts of things like

DVD's, rental kiosks, and they had a chance to buy Netflix out (here in the USA) for a decent price. They did NEITHER. Soon Redbox and Netflix grew and managed to take most of their customers. Blockbuster ultimately filed for bankruptcy (again here in the USA) on 23/9/2010.

  • @lycanfan Also, I like actually interacting with people. Customer service: you can't get that with bandwidth.

  • Redbox is utter bullshit. The selection is crap, the wait for new entries is outrageous, & in the long run it's more expensive than rental stores or Netflix. Netflix is better, but if you live in town or don't watch many movies in a month (I'm talking 16 or more, based on how much NF is a month vs. store prices) or both (like me) you're better off with rental store. The cheapest store I know, with the best selection, is Family Video. Check 'em out.

  • @A4F7IPictures I've worked in 3 different stores in those 2 years. The two previous to the one I work at now, closed due to the fact BB were eliminating the stores that had the highest rent costs. I was just told a few days ago they're planning on opening 5 stores this year in the south east. Dish Network seems to be serious with trying to turn the company around

  • @A4F7IPictures nostalgiatard= some that like everything for the past and doesn't like stuff that new.
