  • what about breaking the light? it will draw too fast

  • we do isokern fireplaces which are about the same as that and the flues are 1 ft with inner and outer flues we do put dampers in. we work on multi-million dollar houses usually and we put sometimes 3 or 4 up a day.

  • The flue idea kinda sucks but the fire box is neat. Nice idea with brick ledge insert. Why are flues so small?? Make them about 3 foot and you could slam one of these things up a day. Also can a damper be installed?? Oh whats it matter half million dollar houses just direct-vent it out on the side of the house, Its rare to see a nice chimney on a new house these days.
