What emulator do you use i cant make this glitch always if i go to another "field" i cant press select" anyone help me????

@AscendancyLF It only works on the b/w gameboy version. Not the deluxe version

@WintersGrip So lets say the size of every map is 50, 50. To move to the northern map you have to travel to 25, 50, then the game will load the northern map and start scrolling down. AFTER the map has scrolled down, the game will then remove the previous map and set the character's position to 25, 0. But in the case of going into the menu screen, it might save the character's original x and y position and load it when the screen exits, so it skips the position change and load it at 25, 50

@WintersGrip As a programmer I will take a wild guess. When the character changes map (go to the edge of the map) it will load that map's sprites and AFTER the map has fully transitioned into (the map sprites moves in and the old map sprite moves out the way) it will only update the player's new position in the map.
