Oscar Grant Demonstrations: Ex-Bart Police Officer Johannes Mehserle Bailout Today #6

On Friday February 6, 2009, supporters of Oscar Grant family demonstrated against ex Bart Police Officer Johannes Mehserle being bailout. They gathered near Oakland, CA City Hall and delivered many speeches. Later they attempted to March to the Oakland Police Headquarters and the Court but were delayed by a well fortified police presence. They turned around and were successful in reaching their destinations. The police ensured that there was a peaceful march. They were sandwiched in front, side and rear by the Oakland Police Guard.

tasers were supposed to be used as an alternative to using a gun not to inforce compliance ,tasers are not non-leathal only less lethal. police are supposed to use a gun as a last resort and instead of using a gun they have tasers. that is the officer should only pull out a taser instead of using a gun. well would you use a gun in this situation? the criminals that will not be arrested are those they teach the police to use tasers to inforce compliance not as a replacement for guns.
