can you imagine her playing the big dinner jazz clubs and piano bars of vegas , los angeles and new york... she seem even more comfortable doing these old classics as she does with country... one of the greatest female talents of all time.... nashville had to be out of their monds to let her get away.......

Suzy's ask me to marry her. To dream ah to dream!!

agree with tomtowle,, I have never seen any performer with the suttle facial expressions that add so much to the message of the song... just incredible.... will see her live in georgia first of next year !!!!

very relaxed and warm delivery. And what killer side men!

What a natural, sweet voice. So much better than the fake, auto-tune pop singers from today.

Great lineup! Beautiful version of this classic!

This gal should have gone a lot farther up the totem pole I think. Very enjoyable to watch her, and Chet must have believed in her too.

Thank you Chuck for this wonderful video. So much talent on one stage - what a joy to watch!

@paulboon This clip is from a series on the Nashville Network called The American Music Shop. It aired twice every Saturday night back in the day when CMT actually played Suzy's videos.

apart from suzys magic magic voice she has the most lovely eyes and legs too
I remember I was stunned by Suzy's voice when I first heard the album she did with Chet. What I really like about her voice is that she doesn't try to imitate anyone else - it doesn't sound strained in any way.
And how cool to find this on YouTube! :-)

Look at her facial expression at 0:22. True mark of a great vocalist is getting into character by expressing the emotion of the lyrics, not just mouthing the words. She does this a number of times.
