Dear Diary,
I know so original, today is my 16th birthday yes I was born on Christmas day. Although it is my birthday it is the worst day of my life. I got up this morning expecting 2 see my mom and dad fighting as usual, but it was just my dad. He sat there all alone crying and reading a letter, I walked up to him afraid of what might happen next. He looked at me with hate and fury in his eyes. He told me my mom left and it was my entire fault. Why would my mom leave me with him? He completely lashed out on me; he slapped me, punched me and kicked me. I lay on my bed crying all night thinking of the reason my mom would make me suffer. Why wasnt she there to protect me and why didnt she take me with her.

Kevin: Nick
Nick: *closes the diary* oh hey
Kevin: What are you reading?
Nick: Just some book assignment I have for Literature. What do you want?
Kevin: Just wanted to tell you Im going out tonight.
Nick: With a girl?
Kevin: yes
Nick: What is her name?
Kevin: Nick lets not do this
Nick: You know you want to tell me *smiles*
Kevin: Fine her name is Danielle, just stay out of trouble tonight.
Nick: Ill try
Kevin: *leaves*
Nick: I need to skip ahead if I want to return this tonight *opens it*

Dear Diary

Today I met this new at school today, his name is Nick. He is cute but he probably thinks Im weird. But the best part is he lives right next door to me. I wonder if he can protect me from my Dad. Things got really intense with my dad tonight, I actually hit him back.
But he was stronger than me and won the battle, he even raped me tonight. How can a dad look at their daughter and rape her, I just want to get out of this house to meet my mom wherever she is.

Nick: Oh my gosh Meaghan why didnt you tell me? *skipping ahead* Hey she made this entry last night

Dear Diary,
How could Nick betray me like this, I waited for him in the park until I got attacked by a man. If it wasnt for Joe I wouldve been raped and when I returned home I saw Nick kissing some girl, how could he? I cant live my life like this anymore, I hate my life and I dont want it anymore. Tomorrow night I will take my life away, to get away from my dad and Nick because no one loves me anymore.

Nick: No Meaghan *jumps out of his bed and runs out the house*

Meanwhile

Meaghan: *sitting in her bathtub, taking a bath and looking at the scars her dad gave her tonight* today was an even worst day *crying* I cant do this *puts her head underneath the water*
